stress this enough. Dirty filters can restrict airflow, create noisy registers or equipment, or worse,
cause the system to "ice up" and could lead to water leaks.
• Have your system(s) checked and serviced at least once a year. This ensures proper operation and
will ultimately prolong the life and condition of your equipment.
• Use house fans. House fans help cool your home by circulating cool air throughout the house.
• Set your thermostat as high as comfortably possible.
• Don't lower your thermostat more than normal when you turn on your air conditioner.
• Set the fan speed on high, except in humid weather. When it's humid, set the fan speed on low.
• Consider ceiling fans to help spread the cooled air more effectively through your home.
